Website Revenge!

The truly despicable manner in which Mrs Tracy Taylor (CEO Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust) dealt with my reasonably couched Complaint Page 2

Something else the Trust deliberately ignored in another attempt to disadvantage me!

***I had requested that an Independent Clinical Review be obtained from a local Podiatrist, who is highly respected by both the Trust and the establishment - he is a leader in his field.  I had seen him once before and I was very impressed by his approach.  He was confident that my problems were not difficult to resolve (then) and I was certain that that was true. He has a specific interest in bio-mechanics (which is just what I needed especially after the damage wreaked by the pathetic attempts of the WMRC over a period of nearly 2 years). He is also a Clinical Specialist in Musculoskeletal problems (again just what I needed).

When the Trust approached him initially - to update what they discovered was a previous highly critical Report - he wrote to them in the following terms (note the date - Mrs Taylor had done absolutely nothing when she responded to me three months later) :

(***Again courtesy of The Data Protection Act - Access to Medical Records)  And again after a long delay!!!

Note how Mrs De La Fuente (Associate Director), circulated this response to my Consultant, Dr Martina Walsh-Khattak; the Investigating Officer Mr Mark (bury the truth) Senior, General Manager - Operations (a bad outcome would have reflected on him personally); Mrs Alison Last, Head of Patient Experience (in overall charge of Complaints) and to two Complaints Managers who, like mushrooms, were largely kept in the dark!!!  Mrs Tracy Taylor was also regularly involved.

So, Mrs Taylor and her gang had a second string to their bow which, just like TruLife Orthotics Manager's very specific advice, they all deliberately chose to ignore!

The message that I got back, loud and clear from Mr Mark Senior General Manager, when I queried why he would not involve such a highly respected and very well qualified local Podiatrist (an Msc Pod. Adv. Diab. Med Podiatrist), as they well knew, was ...

'He was not suitable! Not suitable my - - - - !

Now what do you think of Mrs Tracy Taylor?  Can she be trusted to treat Patients with decency?  Is she a fit person to be the CEO of an NHS Trust?

Having behaved so despicably in relation to these and other matters, does Mrs Taylor possess one iota of integrity -  YOU DECIDE!

Why didn't the deceitful Mrs Taylor take the very specific advice provided, at her Trust's request, by 'TruLife's' Orthotics Manager?  You are going to love this - it's an extract from her grossly misleading 'Final Response' to my Complaint' (the first and last response in five and a half months!)  N.B. Mrs Taylor craftily ruled out any further correspondence, so ensuring that numerous serious mistakes and omissions could never be challenged!

This is a public service announcement!

Despite what you have heard - Beware of Garlic.

GARLIC WARNING!

For years, doctors and scientists have told us that some foods are good for us, only to be told later that they are bad for us, and all the time they have been good for us ...  there doesn't seem to be much proof either way to suggest what is good or bad ... until now that is.

If it's true that you are what you eat, then garlic is definitely bad for us!

This is an extract from Mrs Tracy Taylor's 'Final Response':

'Other options were considered but as there are relatively few Orthotic Companies within the local area, this did not prove possible and owing to the further delays that were occurring as a result of trying to find a company that was prepared to assist, regrettably it was necessary for the investigation to be undertaken in-house.'  They had THREE MONTHS!

... and pigs might fly!

' ... it was necessary for the investigation to be undertaken in-house.'

18th November 2010   'If there are still issues beyond this point I would be willing to provide an independent review.'  (Very locally and at short notice as before no doubt!)

23rd November 2010  'On reading the documentation I feel that it is imperative an unbiased 3rd party (opinion) is obtained to ensure PD's complaint is examined without prejudice'

WHAT ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!  THERE WAS NO RELEVANT 'IN-HOUSE' INVESTIGATION - this is pure fabrication on Mrs Taylor's part!  The ONLY PERSON to examine my feet was my Consultant Dr Martina Walsh-Khattak (on 19th November), who repeated, time after time after time, that she 'knew nothing about orthotics'.

WHAT IS MORE, no-one examined the shoes that did not fit/were totally unsuitable, that the Orthotics Manager Mr Brian Hopkins, had provided me with - two pairs (that were a joke), let alone the orthoses he provided me with, including the pair he personally butchered when he removed something stuck to them in error by them (with what would appear to have been a blunt axe!). (As pictured on this website).  The Trust deliberately chose to ignore this 'monumental cock-up' and many others, like, for example, Mr Hopkins taking 10-whole weeks to stretch a pair of shoes rather than alter them - very predictably it didn't work - no shoes would stretch to that degree!  It was obvious to me that Mr Hopkins knew painfully little about shoe construction - he once suggested that new uppers would probably be needed - whoever heard of fitting new uppers to shoes - plain daft! I despaired!

A beautiful message about growing old ...
